 A friend sent me a video of the Coho in elk River spawning! I just had to go see Them, and while I was there I decided to walk out to the 3 mile bridge which is actually 3 1/2 miles!😍 It was an incredible beautiful day and I’m so pleased that I’m back to longer walks again!

 I think I’m getting to be a bit of an Agoraphobe! When I do make it to Eureka, I like to take my pups and go for a walk in the McKay tract off Harris Avenue. This year some folks have been working on Ryan Creek so that the salmon can come back! Very exciting.

 Today we went for a late afternoon walk at the Arcata marsh and wildlife sanctuary. I suspect that I haven’t been there for many months and I definitely noticed some changes and upgrades which were entirely satisfactory and pleasant. It’s always pretty chilly there being right on the bay, but really beautiful.

I am still getting the hang of this, and it seems like there are quite a few things to learn about blogging as opposed to the entity that I am leaving!  

 A warm sunny day at the beach! A little sunburn, I should have Worn flip-flops! The ocean is nibbling away at the dunes and creating amazing cliffs!
